We sell the same main items at our Factory Store, with a few additional items as well. If you decide to venture in to our Factory Store we have a chocolate fountain and windows that look back into our gummi production area where you can see gummies being made! I knew Albanese made gummy bears, but other than that, I wasn't sure what to expect. Less than three miles east of Interstate 65 is Albanese's.
Albanese makes more than kinds of candy. Milk-chocolate covered anything and everything walnuts, peanut butter Ritz crackers, blueberries. Dark-chocolate covered anything and everything coffee beans, pretzels, cashews. Then there are fancy chocolate-dipped creams and cordials and toffees.
One of the most exciting parts of my recent trip was a visit to a real, working candy factory.

I stopped in to grab a treat for my wife's birthday, and picked some up for my son, as well. There's not much to see as far as an attraction, you can look into the factory through a glass viewing area. If you are there with the factory not working, as we were, there's even less to see. The real attractionis the Albanese Candy Factory Store Outlet where you can get a wide variety of candy at very reasonable prices. Located 3 miles off Hwy 65 in northern Indiana, this is a cool place to stop for candy and chocolates.
