So they say, you have everything to worry about.

Do not point out, So many good people point out for stupid shyt, they are not playing, it dont matter if your the best worker, if you point out, you are gone!. All the rules in the handbook apply, even if you fall asleep standing up. There is a no tolerance policy for that even if you have no points. It dont matter what type of work ethic you have break any of the rules, you are gone. There is some leeway for those, that's when the favorites come into play. If you go up against a person with disabilities and your just a regular joe off the street who works harder and knows more than the disability person, the disability person stays and your out of a job.

Unfortunately I loved my job at one point, but with all the favoritism and being treated like a second class citizen, I gotten tired of eating shyt the last four months. There was noting I could of said or done because of a little worm and you know who you are took my job away.

The worst part about it, I stuck up for the worm too. Yes, in the food industry, there are obviously a lot of rules to ensure the safety of our people, product and customers. Yes, we have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind — including people with disabilities.

You said that you loved your job at one point, but it sounds like something went wrong somewhere. Worked there for 1. Not enough pay for the work involved. Company is not run very well. Pay rate was determined by how much you knew how to do in every area of the plant. You are forced to use your vacation days if you have no sick days. They basically take your vacation from you. Some employees who are company people will throw you under the bus if given a chance.

No chance of unionizing in this place. Did all asked but as a former union representative they got rid of me without a explanation. The sisters only listen to their drinking buddies and are not in touch with what is going on!! If you want to actually help and be apart of the solution you don't have a chance if you are not part of the management social society. Join the click or your out! Yes 1 No 1. Employers employ groups of people who form relationships, this happens in employment, schools, communities, social groups etc… People make friendships, this is not unusual.

A lot of people have made lasting friendships working here. That being said, we keep it professional and I see many people go out of their way to make sure others always feel included. Management is present and approachable. Always eager to meet new people and listen to ideas. Sorry you felt otherwise. This is not a good place for minorities to work. Delt with a lot of racism in the work place. Constantly reported racial slurs to HR and wrote written statements nothing ever happened. Alot of unappreciated hard work goes into this job.

Benefits and pay. All money is not good money. Yes 3 No 1. Sorry to read your review. I can tell you that leadership and HR care deeply about our employees and always working toward improvement. As you know, we do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. We investigate every allegation.

These kinds of allegations against others are serious and we treat them with the utmost urgency and seriousness. Sometimes investigations find things that we can act on.

We have a very diverse workforce and most the people who work here are friendly and get along very well. Do you enjoy working at your company? Help people considering your employer make a good choice. Great local company to work for. Owners are onsite and involved. They work with all levels of the company and heavily involved in the company in all aspects. There is no bureaucracy or red tape so decisions are made quickly and things get done.

Albanese is the fastest growing candy brand in the market and demand is high for our products so as a result the growth is like a rocket ship. This means lots of changes and process improvements need to be made and are made.

It's a great working environment for anyone looking to make a positive impact and contribute to a team. It would be stressful for anyone that likes a "maintenance mode" job. Benefits are great and rival that of any large global corporation I've worked for. Free health insurance with a low deductible and a reasonably cost buy up plan to buy down the deductible. Paid Time off, family events hosted by the company, and a luncheon for every holiday including the minor ones like Memorial day.

There is a generous employee discount at the factory outlet, which you will need because your entire family and friend network will be asking you to bring candy to any party you ever attend, lol.

There is candy in the break room pretty much every day to eat for free. Surprisingly, I have not gained weight from working here although it's not for lack of trying! I'm technically not qualified for the position I'm in based on my lack of a degree, but they wanted to give me the opportunity to try. Growing company with lots of opportunity for advancement, benefits are great.

It's a fast growing company so there is a lot of work to be done and growing pains. Yes 2 No 5. What a great review! Thanks for the review and for your decade of service.

Looking forward to seeing you continue to grow with us. High turn over rate so they are always understaffed. The job is easy, basic data entry but there are serious issues with their systems performance. There were glitches every single day which would cause you to have to totally redo something that may have already taken you an hour. They may want you to work over last minute, so plan accordingly. They do not give lunches, they call it a "working lunch" Which is working while you scarf half a sandwich down.

Training is minimal, you pretty much get one day on the job training and have to wing it from there. Yes 2 No 1.
